Kundani Makakavhule

Kundani is a lecturer at the University of Pretoria, in the department of Town and Regional Planning. She holds a PhD in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Her recent publications focus on the production, policy and transformation of urban public spaces as well as the transformation of space on the neighbourhood and precinct scale. She draws theory from Politics, Sociology and Geography in an effort to make sense of social and political processes directly affecting spatial planning.
